FAILURE: THE KEY TO ACHIEVING GREATNESS

There is always a stigma when referring or discussing about failure. It isn’t what people of the world, would love to associate themselves with but it is unavoidable in most cases, in the event of a day.

The word failure, simply means, lack of success. Every individual on the surface of the earth, are always eager to be associated with success at all times. Another fact is that, people of the world, are always enthusiastic to relate with successful people and not the opposite.

There are several examples of people in the world today that have had failures in the past and have been able to channel it into becoming what they are or were today. I would like to draw inference from their stories.

  • Oprah Winfrey: She’s a world renown Media Presenter and a has successful erupt to attain an asset worth over 3 billion dollars. According to her story, she was publicly dismissed from her first job. You can imagine, if someone with such passion for her job, gets the sack. It will feel like the whole world is coming to an end. However, she never dwells on the past, she forged ahead with life, she took such a catastrophic act as a challenge which subsequently propel her to the rightful path of success.
  • H. Marcy: A renowned entrepreneur with a sinusoidal past failures. He tried his hands on multiple retail businesses but failure on those occasions and today he is known for having the best retail chain in the world at a tender age of 36.
  • Colonel Harland David Sanders: I really don’t know, if such names ring a bell to most people but for those that are famous for consuming a sweet, moisture chickens across Europe, will be familiar with whom he is. He was the founder of Kentucky Fried Chicken which as at today is in over 18,000 locations across the globe. David was a man of purpose who despite the reject of his early built idea, ended up establishing a lucrative and fast moving Eatery for people’s comfort and relaxation.
  • Isaac Newton: A gem and great icon in the scientific world, who postulated multiple laws in physics and astronomy was once pulled out of school by his mother to become a farmer but he did woeful at that. Despite the tough task given and the repetition of failures during planting and harvest, he never gave up on his aspiration and he ended up been a genius that the world could never forget.

We are also aware of the famous Thomas Edison who a master in his craft but has been a recipient of multiple failures in the past. He’s famous quote who has inspired several successes today is stated here, “Why should I feel like a failure? And why would I ever give up? I now know over 9,000 ways an electric lightbulb will not work. Success is almost in my grasp.” We could infer from his statement, how many times, he has tried to replicate or try out new ideology or experiments on how to achieving electricity but he simply understands the fact that, every path that is not is a way of solution to another.

I would like us to get a grip of ourselves and not look down on our failures in the past, but we should ensure to know that until when it is achieved then it isn’t finished. It is also likely that the economy of a country or the state of reasoning of individuals around you could cause a swift decline in a proposed vision, however, we should derail from what we want to achieve in life, it is your idea and no one else, you are unique and it is certain that you will be a success. If you become successful and great tomorrow, what story will be told of your pathway to it, let us endeavor to know the End Justifies the Means.

It might interest you to know that, even I writing this, am on my way to greatness, I don’t think about the past, I only learn from it and push on with the manifold grace of God to get to my rightful place in destiny.

Failure is for the strong because it molds you into who you are meant to become.
